Cookies and analytics

FIIC uses an essential session cookie for security, forms, sign-in and account continuity. It cannot be switched off because the platform would not work safely without it.

Anonymous page totals

FIIC always adds one to a daily total when a page is displayed. These totals contain only the date, a simplified page path, the platform area and the number of views. They do not contain a visitor or account identifier, cookie value, IP address, browser, device or location.

Optional detailed analytics

If you allow analytics, FIIC also records privacy-minimal visit and interaction categories such as navigation, downloads and form submissions. Reports may include a simplified page path, time, browser family, device type, time zone and a coarse country or region supplied by a trusted host. FIIC does not store precise GPS, raw IP addresses, search terms, messages or form values in this analytics dataset.

Your choice

FIIC asks every new browser to choose before continuing, but detailed analytics remains optional. Continuing without analytics does not reduce platform functionality. You can reopen Cookie settings at any time; withdrawing later removes detailed analytics linked to your current browser and, when signed in, your account. Anonymous totals cannot identify a visitor and therefore cannot be linked back to or removed for one person.
